He/she will drive key perception-building elements of Beauty and Luxury Beauty businesses on both on and off-platform channels by using content as a medium of communication. They will be required to build a thorough understanding of what drives a customer to shop Beauty products via analysis of on-platform customer data and awareness of current market trends to design a content-first strategy for the business. They will be responsible for overseeing content development and take data-backed decisions to leverage central programs like (a) live video shopping, (b) influencer marketing, (c) video creation programs and (d) public relations. They will also have to extensively work with brands and vendors to drive participation among these programs, while exploring avenues for greater synergies. The role also requires high innovation and execution capabilities as they will be working in a dynamic environment with frequent developments that will have to be actioned on and leveraged immediately. They are expected to be well aware of beauty and fashion trends and be pro-active in ensuring Amazon Beauty's communication is keeping pace with global trends.
Key job responsibilities
- Own key content programs for the category and work as a category advocate with central content teams.
- Own creation of category-specific themes to be activated within central programs by leveraging customer data and drive execution.
- Conceptualize, design and collaborate with content and category teams to positively impact perception drivers of Amazon Beauty on and off platform.
- Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing plans to drive customer awareness within central content programs and work with social media and merchandising teams for execute plans.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to determine activity effectiveness and continuously improve inputs by incorporating learnings into content planning and execution.
- Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making.
- Meet program goals for the category while ensuring a top-notch customer experience.
- Own projects with considerable scope and/or complexity with significant impact on customer experience and Amazon’s business.

- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in handling all traffic driving mechanisms and other marketing channels.
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize.
