Job Description Job Responsibilities Analyse short- and long-term forecasting, analyse trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals. Analyse and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production. Ensure that all major channels of distribution - Internet, GDS, CRO, Wholesale - effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity. Conduct a weekly Revenue Management Meeting where the current 120-day booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control. Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions. Receive all definite and tentative group bookings and provide the General Manager with qualified analysis of how each booking will impact occupancy, average rate and rooms profit over the dates in question. Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure positive growth. Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks in order to effectively measure performance. Monitor and analyse the competition weekly through competitive shops, internet, news reports to  identify selling strategies and emerging trends. Explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate additional revenue without  increasing costs. Responsible for the maintenance of any software programs which contribute to the management  of revenue. Work on all Revenue Management projects as requested e.g., implementing formal End of Month reporting process at each hotel, providing roll up reporting for corporate users and the brand team, etc. Assist with implementation of Revenue Management basics and standards. Implement tools to automate and streamline consultations as well as document action plans. Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout all departments of the hotel. Job Description Job Responsibilities Duty Manager Reports to - Front Office Manager Responsible for - Front Office Department Job Purpose : To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office department & Co-ordinate with various other departments in order to ensure personalized, prompt and flawless service to all guests. The position will also act a as a 'One Point Contact' for all the in-house guests, incase of guest requests, complaints or any other feedback. Managerial Staffing and Scheduling of the shift and allocation of duties. Implement systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction. Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the outlet Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the department. Operational Maintain the Log Book and effective follow up system, Check the daily arrival list and monitor all VIP movement. Ensure that the guest has a pleasant stay by supervision of; - Room allocation - Smooth Check In & Check Out - Special requirements of the guest Co-ordinate with departments like Security and Housekeeping to ensure that all the security, hygiene and aesthetic standards of the hotel are met. Act as a 'One Point Contact' for the guest, constantly interact with guests in order to solicit feedback. Prepare reports on Occupancy, Average rates, Reservations etc Ensure through regular monitoring of GSTS and feedback, prompt, efficient and accurate service to all guests. Maintain the Guest History System and update the guest profiles. Monitor the business of competition hotels in terms of new accounts and rates. Ensure that all the operational standards set for all the processes are followed. Ensures norms, procedures and systems for safety and security of guest belongings (e.g. Lockers, Left luggage etc) are followed.
