Your role

Key Responsibilities
1. CAD Administration (SolidWorks)
•Manage, configure, and support CAD environments (SolidWorks).
•Handle CAD customizations, templates, start parts, library objects, and configuration files.
•Troubleshoot CAD issues related to modeling, assemblies, drawings, and performance.
•Support CAD-Windchill integration through PTC Workgroup Manager.
•Ensure CAD data integrity, versioning, and compliance with organizational modeling standards.

2. PTC Workgroup Manager (WGM) Handling
•Act as the key administrator for PTC Workgroup Manager, bridging CAD and Windchill PLM.
•Install, configure, and maintain WGM for SolidWorks users.
•Troubleshoot WGM errors including check-in, check-out, workspace failures, and conflicts.
•Support mapping rules, workspace configuration, and CAD document associations.
•Ensure smooth CAD–PLM data transfer through WGM and optimize user workflows.
•Upgradation of WGM to suit for new versions of CAD & PLM

3. Windchill PLM Support
•Provide first-line support for Windchill users across the organization.
•Assist users with workspaces, CAD data management, lifecycles, workflows, and version control.
•Support Windchill administrative tasks:

1)User provisioning and access rights
2)Object lifecycle configuration
3)Promotion requests and change management
4)Container/project setup

•Monitor system performance and escalate issues to the PLM admin or vendor when required.
•Participate in Windchill upgrades, patches, testing, and validation activities.

To succeed, you will need

Key skillset:
-Very good knowledge of the Atlas Copco Business Echo system
-Ability to govern and develop our usage of the ticket system Atlassian Jira ServiceDesk
-Documented system experience of PDMLink and Creo system to allow for efficient and self-sustaining delivery of the end-user support.
-Good knowledge in WGM and Solidwork/Creo and windchill 
-AI Agent uses in knowledge management database

You will report to the Team Lead Process Management.

Educational requirements:
•BE / BTech Degree in Engineering with 4 to 5 years minimum experience  (Mechanical / relevant discipline).
