Your role

Your mission is to perform efficiently, deliver the Engineered Solutions projects on time and first time right and effectively add values for long-lasting outcomes, participate in all engineering activities, while enhancing Project realization of our product. Design and drawing in the field of compressors manufactured at different locations of Atlas Copco in the world.

The Role:

You will manage projects for design and development, collaborate with Team leaders and customers, and present and discuss the proposed designs. Being senior Engineer, you will have to focus on team success. Actively seeks for training of the skill that are missing for own development. 

Project Execution: -

  • To understand the structure of the assemblies, you will be interacting with various Engineering Departments of Atlas Copco group companies and will have the communication with the customers at Product company locations. 
  • You will be able to understand assigned jobs with respect to project schedule, work on different CAD packages, and provide a high-quality job in a given period.
  • You will be obligated to follow design codes, work instructions, and check lists on the tasks performed and carry out the cad checking.
  • It will be your responsibility to further develop and expand the scope of activities while working as a good team member.
  • You will report to the Team leader.

 

Shift Requirement:

  • This position requires working during U.S. shift hours. Applicants must be comfortable with this schedule, as it is an important part of the job.

Knowledge: -

  • Knowledge of Design application skills, proven experience in mechanical design & drafting.
  • Design of Skid packages for compressor and dryer would be an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge of Sheet metal, Piping design, heavy fabrication. Knowledge of AutoCAD —Inventor 3D Software and Enovia PLM.
  • Knowledge of international standards ASME and CE, API standards would be an added advantage.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the compressor/Dryer industry or related fields.

 

Personality Requirements:

  • Candidates should demonstrate creativity and the initiative necessary to consistently deliver high-quality results within designated timelines. A strong commitment to teamwork and effective communication skills in English are essential. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible, and willing to travel internationally for project specific assignments.
