Production Development Engineer

Your role

As a Production Development Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our manufacturing capabilities. Working closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Product Development, Customer Projects and Business Intelligence, you will drive industrialization projects from concept to implementation.

The role covers the full spectrum of production development, including manufacturing planning, production flow and layout design, process development, and investment projects. You will be responsible for activities such as Design for Assembly (DfA), lead-time calculations, Value Stream Mapping and FMEA, while ensuring that new products are introduced into production in an efficient and sustainable way.

You will also contribute to the implementation of new digital solutions and production technologies, including the specification, sourcing and installation of new equipment. Depending on the project, you may take the lead in establishing new production lines and developing future manufacturing capabilities.

Your profile

We are looking for a structured and driven engineer with a genuine interest in technology and manufacturing. You enjoy solving complex challenges, collaborating across functions, and taking ownership of projects from idea to implementation.  

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Master's degree in Production, Manufacturing, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.

• Proven experience in production development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Solid knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and process optimization.

• Strong interest in production development, industrialization, and technical solutions.

Experience with FMEA, simulation tools, CAD software, ERP/PLM systems, or Industry 4.0 technologies is considered an advantage.  

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
