Associate Director/ Director Supply Chain

Position Summary:

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Promote and reinforce a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and practices.
• Lead supplier management initiatives to positively influence business goals related to quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Drive supplier transfer and transition programs through structured planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Review supplier proposals, assess manufacturing feasibility, and partner with engineering teams to resolve technical gaps.
• Participate in regular performance reviews to support planning, inventory control, and quality teams in resolving supplier-related issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for recurring supplier delivery and quality concerns.
• Monitor key supplier performance metrics such as delivery performance and defect rates, and take proactive actions to improve outcomes.
• Initiate and lead development programs for key suppliers requiring performance improvement.
• Partner with quality teams and global stakeholders to manage escalations and ensure sustained supplier improvement.
• Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with suppliers and operations teams to maintain supply continuity and capacity alignment.
• Drive supplier capability building by promoting structured problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

• Ability to analyze supplier performance data and drive improvements in delivery, quality, and cost.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and global teams.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex supply chain challenges.
• Willingness to travel as required based on role needs.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading supplier transition or development programs.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving, continuous improvement methodologies, or operational excellence practices.
• Experience working with global teams and supplier networks.
