Job Summary:

The Associate Trainee is responsible for operational tasks associated with defined benefit plans in compliance with plan provisions. The Associate assists in maintaining pension data, payment, payroll administration and calculates benefits. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Research participant records, process life cycle events, payroll and reconciliation
  •  Provide support for special projects and other tasks as needed
  •  Ensures quality service for existing clients by proactively identifying potential problems/solutions and producing timely and accurate work products.
  •  Accurately bills time to ensure client’s billings are correct.
  •  Ensures all work product is reviewed according to Milliman’s peer review guidelines.
  •  Assists other team members in case of volume spikes to help in meeting team targets

Experience Desired:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  •  Experience with Excel and Access is added advantage
  •  Basic SQL knowledge

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  •  Proficiency with respect to all computer systems used in the performance of daily tasks.
  •  Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  •  Ability to work in a team environment and individually
  •  High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills
