The Role:

Logitech is looking for an IT Service Support Intern to provide IT support and training to our end-users across India and other regions. The role requires a service-oriented mindset, along with creativity in problem-solving. We are seeking an individual who is open, flexible, and a strong communicator. The IT Employee Experience & Services Team is a global team that collaborates with other departments to support end users and IT equipment at Logitech sites.

  • Provide IT service support, guidance, and training to end-users for various IT devices, applications, or processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both locally and remotely.
  • Conduct IT onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Assist in the discovery of new IT business tools to support our business users and internal IT teams.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams on system testing, integration, and maintenance.
  • Participate in product testing with business groups.
  • Seek, suggest, evaluate, and implement process and technology improvements.

Key Qualifications:

To be considered, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Experience in end-user desktop support
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 11, M365 and MacOS
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Strong communication skills, with comfort in working with various stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of hardware installation, cabling, and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting skills for bug identification and resolution
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently within a remote team
  • Fluent in English

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of MS Intune, Apple MDM Device Management software, ServiceNow, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with advanced printer/peripheral device troubleshooting and patch management
  • Project management/design thinking skills

Education:

Obligation to complete high school education

Create, maintain, terminate user accounts within MS Active Directory. Manage user security and distribution groups in Active Directory. Create and manage group policy within the Active Directory environment. Ensure the workstations are patched with security updates and antivirus signature are updated periodically. Work with different hardware vendors and product vendors to ensure the infrastructure is usable for the end users. Act as a Single Point of Contact to the organization for information technology related problems. Participate in the maintenance of systems configuration documentation, documentation on maintenance, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs) that pertain the desktop environment. Provide root-cause analysis, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology. Be able to work independently and come up to speed quickly on new technologies.   Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science / Information Systems / Mathematics or equivalent work experience. MCP for Windows XP or Windows 7 certification(s) are highly desired or equivalent experience, Other industry certifications (MSCE, RHCE, etc) a bonus. 0 to 2 years experience providing Tier 1 or 2 support for Windows XP/7 desktops, Active Directory domains, and Windows 2003/2008 servers. Strong knowledge of popular Windows software programs, including Microsoft Office 2007/2010, Visio, Project, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc. Ability to perform a clean installation of Windows XP/7, Upgrade to Windows 7, and migrate user-related data and settings from Windows XP. Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Windows Server 2003/2008, Antivirus, Patch management etc. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
