About The Role:

As a member of the AEM Engineering team, you will play a very important role in ensuring our products the release of products with the highest possible quality and also be critical to the continuous advancement of various product areas and components. We are looking for a forward-thinking, motivated individual to join a high-calibre, fast-paced team.

AEM is undergoing a transformation into Unified Engineering and adopting a DevOps culture so you will engage in open discussion across a large diverse group of engineers, transforming the way we work.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teammates on the best approaches for problem solving
  • Prototype, develop, unit-test, deploy scalable features in the highest quality
  • Perform code reviews, provide feedback to team members on coding techniques and respond effectively to feedback from reviewers
  • Plan, develop, monitor and evolve needed infrastructure in collaboration with Ops partners
  • Be committed to DevOps/Unified Engineering culture
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
  • Adopt a highly reciprocal team that requires effective communication and quality contributions across multiple geographies

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science
  • Deep understanding of both Java and JavaScript; deep knowledge of modern Web related technologies
  • Creative troubleshooting skills, ability to construct creative approaches to problems
  • You are familiar with HTTP APIs design (REST) as well as with micro-services architecture
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS), Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Automation technologies (Jenkins, NewRelic, Grafana, Helm or similar)
  • You are knowledgeable in Agile & DevOps principles, experience in a distributed team environment is a plus

As a Security Development Engineer at Adobe, you will be joining a team responsible for building an outstanding security tools from the ground up. Our focus is on providing value to the organization by emphasizing real-world security and adopting automation, as well as optimizing data flow and collection from multi-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an expert data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.      What you will work on  Designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining a robust, reliable, and scalable security software. Partnering with multiple engineering teams on internal-facing security and privacy initiatives, ensuring that security data accessibility, quality, and reliability are considered.  Responsible for documentation of the software developed. Setup and follow the guidelines for Secure software development. Helping to rapidly scale the platform. As a member of the security team, you'll be an integral part of how we mature our own tooling, standard methodologies, and engineering processes.    About you  3-6 years of working on building backend infrastructure/data systems. Experience writing code, designing systems and data workflows, optimizing data processing algorithms, and systems to support security data analytics.  Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with databases.  Familiarity with Spark (PySpark) and should know how to deploy a Spark job in the cloud.  In-Depth knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and its associated security suites (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.).  Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CloudFormation.  Relevant development experience in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.  Strong communicator with both words and data - you understand what it takes to go from raw Security data to something a human understands.  Comfortable with complexity in the short term but can build towards simplicity in the long term.  Prior experience of working on Security projects is preferable.
