Job Description

As a Jr SW engineer your responsibilities are,

Taking ownership of customer issues reported by users and seeing problems through to resolution
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Handle the fixes of issues independently
Provide daily status report superiors and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Java and APIs
Good knowledge of JSP, XSLT, Selenium, Unit Testing
Review support tickets, perform RCA, and find a solution.
Insurance domain experience is an added advantage
Should be able to manually test the application before releasing the ticket
Test reporting
Excellent communication skills
Exposure to selenium is an added advantage
Should be confident to communicate and directly work with client stakeholders.
