About profile – Business Data Analyst-Intern

The Business Data Analyst-  Intern is responsible for supporting the PLM and SOR process by partnering with end-to-end Program Managers to manage product schedules in our product lifecycle management system, Teamcenter. This includes but is not limited to maintaining master data records to ensure accuracy, validating data entries, ensuring data objects are implemented and functioning properly, and troubleshooting daily/on-going issues impacting solutions and processes.

Roles & responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in developing solutions to address business needs 
  • Assist with creating documentation for required solutions and processes 
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements 
  • Participate in the creation of training for user community needs
  • Act as a communication liaison between business area and technical support groups  
  • Participate in cross functional teams to address business issues and provide the necessary solutions
  • Troubleshoot daily and ongoing issues involving system processes and ensure that necessary functions exist
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in the data assignment and systems used to manage that data.

 

 

Knowledge and Capabilities (Qualifications):

  • Self-motivated and service oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong persuasive and diplomatic communication skills (oral, written, one-on-one, and group)
  • Proven ability to drive the development, documentation and execution of business processes and/or programs
  • Proficient in use of all Microsoft Office products to support day to day job functions
  • Knowledge of enterprise programs and processes
  • Eager to learn new applications

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiar with Enterprise applications such as Teamcenter, SAP , Salesforce and Power BI
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge about Data Governance and Data management activities

 

Education Requirement & eligibility:

  • Master’s in computer science or computer Engineering
  • CGPA requirements = 7.0 CGPA & Above

Establish procedures and determine the necessary transformations to transfer both structured and unstructured data from the source to a new physical Data Model. Work with Data Scientists to implement strategies for cleaning and preparing data for analysis, to develop data imputation algorithms, and optimize performance of big data and machine learning systems.   Above average skills in: Big Data Engineering and Processing using Google Cloud Tech stack (Big Query, Big Table, Cloud functions, Spark, and cloud storage etc.) Cloud Data Engineering knowledge on GCP/AWS/AZURE is a plus. Conceptual Knowledge on ETL/ELT Design and processes (Apache Ni-Fi and Snowflake is a plus) Algorithms and Data Structures (Understand appropriate usage of data structures and how they are used in common algorithms) Cloud tools (Object Store (GCS),  Kubernetes (GKE), Databases (BQ)) Solid understanding of SQL and databases (Oracle, MSSQL, etc.), including SQL and NoSQL.
