The Role:

  • We are seeking a talented Content Designer to join our team at Zeta. This is a great opportunity for freshers or candidates with 1-2 years of experience to enhance their skills in UX writing and content design. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Content Design team, specifically working with the Plutus Organizational Unit which works with HDFC Bank in a strategic partnership.  You will work closely with Zeta's UX team, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to create content that’s not only user-centric but also ensures a seamless user experience across all of Zeta's digital products. Your passion for writing, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn about UX research methodologies will be key aspects that define this role. While prior experience with Fintech products would be beneficial, we encourage candidates with a background in content writing to apply and grow with us in this exciting journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will assist in crafting high-quality, clear, and concise copies that align with user needs and Zeta's business objectives for digital products. You will be working across 3 major streams - in-app interface copies, notifications, and Help & Support documentation. 
  • You will be required to work along with the UX team to integrate content seamlessly with the design and enhance the user experience for digital products. You will also need to collaborate with the Help Center team for understanding customer pain points and maintenance of the FAQ category tree.
  • You will be learning and contributing towards the development and maintenance of a content design system or style guide for Plutus, ensuring consistency across all its products, under the guidance of senior team members. 
  • You must be an active participant in the UX content process and pipeline, eager to learn and experiment to enhance the user experience.
  • Additionally, you will be contributing towards UX research efforts by participating in user interviews, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback to inform content creation for Zeta's digital products.

Qualifications and Skills:

  •  You must have a passion for writing and an inclination toward user-centric content creation. 
  • You must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and understand UX design principles and methodologies for digital products. 
  • You must possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders.
  • You must demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. 
  • Attention to detail is a must along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in content writing or related fields is preferred, but not mandatory. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Formal qualifications in English, Journalism, Communications, or related fields. 
  • Familiarity with Content Design for digital products. 
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for digital products. 
  • Experience or interest in Fintech products.
  • Stay up-to-date with pop-culture references and colloquial speech.
  • Fluency in a second language.

The job of a UX Designer I is to flawlessly execute how people experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and even magical. In this role, you’ll take on problem statements and tasks, and transform them into intuitive, accessible, easy-to-use, and delightful designs for our customers around the world—from first-time users to sophisticated experts. You will collaborate with teams of Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them, and ensure that the final product not just solves their problems but also surprises and delights them. Responsibilities: Support senior designers in delivering world-class interaction designs from initial concept through to shipping. Solve complex design problems in simple and intuitive ways, that blends the brand personality, visual, motion, and sound to create delightful experiences. Create and assess design solutions based on user research data and user goals. Produce design visualizations to help everyone understand what the best experience should be: storyboards, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and vision pieces. Work closely and constructively with cross-functional teams to iterate and deliver flawlessly. Advocate for your design solutions by putting them in the context of business and user goals. Be self-directed and able to self-manage. Qualifications 0-2 years of interaction design work experience. Experience in user interface design, data visualization, and prototyping. Proficient in Figma (if not, Sketch/XD). Experience with tools such as Principle, Framer, Webflow, or Adobe Suite is a plus. Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them in designs. Good understanding of information design and user psychology. Good communication/presentation skills to showcase your design. Experience in prototyping or front-end development. Knowledge of Visual Design. Good knowledge of UX copywriting Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Good problem-solving skills in a growing environment.
