The Digital BU is seeking an IC layout designer to work on development of highly integrated IC’s.

 

As an IC layout designer, your focus will be on block level physical design.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-          Working with analog/mixed-signal and digital design teams to ensure proper layout design

-          Block level floor planning and layout

-          IC top level floor planning and area estimation

-          Using recommended layout and verification techniques, tools, and flows to produce optimal designs

-          Generate post-layout extraction

-          Create layout related documentation

 

Minimum Requirements:

-          1+ years experience as physical layout designer

-          Understanding of matched structures like current mirror, input pair, etc.

-          Understanding of noise isolation techniques

-          Ability to work within and effectively collaborate with cross-functional team

-          Strong communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

-          Experience with FinFET layout and understanding of layout related reliability issues

-          Scripting/programming skills
