Job description 

Role Purpose:
As an Engineer II - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible fully testing the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs. The role will involve creating and implementing testing methods, recording the test results, and providing recommendations to improve software programs based on the results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing software specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback for test planning and procedures.
  • Providing feedback to Leads about testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
  •  Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
  • Performing system load tests for new products.
  • Executing test scripts and reviewing results
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Reporting and documenting all issues and Making improvements to functionality, design, and usability of new products.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills :

  • Experience conducting testing on Web based/Desktop applications.
  • Experience with Automation Frameworks used in Selenium or Katalon and have ability to build automation scripts using keyword driven framework.
  • Experience building SQL queries and using PL/SQL queries.
  • Experience in API testing using SOAPUI or POSTMAN.
  • Test script writing, using tools like XRAY/Jira.
  •  Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, security testing, performance testing, and UI testing.
  • Knowledge Any knowledge on Airline Industry is added benefit. Experience using automated test tools like Selenium, will be an added advantage.

Shall be accountable for effectiveness of Abbott SOPs and quality technical agreement at contract manufacturing sites. To escalate the concern timely to Abbott management. To identify training needs of sites and team members  based on day to day observations and provide  trainings to them. To review OOS, deviation, incident & change control of Abbott products and to ensure comprehensive investigation. Tracking and closure of identified CAPA to be done effectively. To ensure and lead Pharmacopeial changes effectively for Abbott products in timely manner. Ensure that the associated TPM’s are maintained in a state of Quality and compliance and the CAPA’s arising out of the audits are closed on time. To prepare the performance score cards of TPM’s quarterly and ensure the compliance to the action plans .
