Responsibilities of the role

The role mainly requires manual testing with some automation, or the ability to grow into doing test automation.

  • Create and execute test cases to ensure features are implemented according to specifications
  • Verify that bugs have been fixed
  • Add automated tests to existing frameworks

 

Required qualifications

  • Education and professional experience:
    • 4-year degree in STEM
    • or 1+ years experience in technology
  • Ability to take ownership of testing a feature based on the given requirements
    • test planning
    • test case writing
    • test execution
    • ticket creation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (simple SELECT statements)
  • Experience writing UI automation tests with a tool such as Testcafe, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Experience testing APIs.
  • Experience using Docker as a local testing environment
  • Languages: Python, Testscript (basic knowledge)
  • Tools: Jira, Postman, Git
