Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Job function: NAS (Non Access stratum ) software engineers work on a SW layer that brings all the various protocols stacks (5G, 4G, 3G & CIOT) together. The role requires development and debugging of the features, filing new ideas, rewriting software to meet new memory/performance goals and creating scripting tools to limit manual effort. It is a challenging position requiring strong SW architecture and design skills. It provides the opportunity to work on new and exciting protocols and features that are on the cutting edge of wireless communication. Skills/experience: 0 - 3 years of development experience in telecom/embedded domain SW development with strong C programming skills , data structures and operating systems concepts. Experience in 5G, LTE, CIOT, UMTS or GSM wireless protocols is a plus. Must have good communication skills and be a team player Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include feature design, development, unit test, issue analysis, etc. Education requirements: Required: Bachelor's, Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering. Preferred: Computer Engineering Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
