The manual tester responsibilities include: Analyzing the technical characteristics of equipment systems . Evaluating written code to ensure it meets project specifications. Developing quality assurance strategies and organizing phased testing with QA engineers. Demonstrate a good understanding of testing concepts and methodologies. Have good knowledge in the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan. Detect bugs and classify them based on severity, priority. Report defects effectively with excellent skills in defect reporting. Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing. Prepare traceability matrix to map business requirements with test cases. Interact with teams for better understanding of functional requirements for developing quality test cases. Design and execute test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled. Create, modify, and enhance both manual test cases and test scripts created in Selenium Web Driver. Execute test scripts on Firefox and Chrome browsers. Have good experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver or any automation testing tool along with TestNG Framework. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making & problem solving skills. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role. Preferred to have testing experience in E-Commerce based Applications . Should have excellent understanding of testing methodology for Rest API, SOAP Based Web Service and Integration testing. Proficient in testing concepts and methodologies. Excellent understanding of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan. Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing. Proficient in test automation using Selenium Webdriver with JAVA. Experience in creating, modifying, and enhancing both manual test cases and test scripts created in Selenium Web Driver. Experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver with TestNG Framework. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making & problem solving skills.
