Tasks

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer- Trainee with certifications, who will be responsible for testing, designing, deploying, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery processes using tools like Jenkins and Git. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in managing multiple servers and possess strong knowledge of Linux systems and commands.
  • Proficiency in scripting with BASH is mandatory, and experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Familiarity with managing database technologies like MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch is important.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as Google Cloud and Azure is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and configuration management systems like Ansible is necessary.
  • Experience in running and deploying node.js and Python webservers is desired.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes is required.
  • Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Go is a plus.

Requirements

The Ideal candidate should have:

  • 0-1 year of experience in deploying and managing multiple servers.
  • Must have good knowledge of Linux systems and commands.
  • Scripting knowledge in BASH is mandatory.
  • containerization experience using Docker is mandatory.
  • hands-on experience managing DB technologies like Mongo/Redis/Elastic search.
  • Must have good knowledge of cloud services like Google Cloud and Azure.

Automation and Scripting: Learn to develop automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline deployment and management tasks. CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similar. Monitoring and Logging: Help set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or other relevant tools. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn and assist in writing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, or Ansible. Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices and compliance requirements within the AWS environment. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
