Description & Requirements

For the Infor ION Connectors team we are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Software Engineer (SE).

You will be responsible for translating high level requirements and designs into solid detailed designs, building robust software including extensive unit tests and analyzing and fixing incoming defects.

You will work in a team of motivated people, consisting of other software engineers, business analysts, architects Dev Support and QA engineers. This team is not only local in Hyderabad (India) but is also located in the Netherlands and in the US.

We are currently in the process of breaking up our product into multiple smaller micro services. Although we are looking for a backend engineer, our team is also building the UI parts of the solution so a full-stack engineer is more than welcome to apply.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Attending the daily development scrum meetings.

• Doing code reviews for colleagues.

• Investigating and resolving incoming defects.

• Creating detailed designs and building implementations.

• Answering incoming questions, helping out colleagues.

• Working with other teams to let our components align seamlessly with others.

Required skills:

• Bachelor or Master technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education

• Analytical, accurate and result driven

• Proactive problem solver

• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal);

• Team player

• Experience with and enjoys working within an international agile development environment

• All round Java developer with knowledge of SQL databases

• Considers and treats Unit testing as intrinsically part of the daily work

• Amazon Web Services, especially EC2, S3, SQS, ELB, OpenSearch

• Experience with Development tooling (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in building front ends using Angular

• Knowledge of Azure, container architectures (Docker, Kubernetes)
