Join Seagate as an Intern - Product Test in Pune, India. Support engineering efforts, execute test cases and ensure product quality. About our group:
Our group does hands-on and automated execution of product tests for the Seagate RAID/ Non RAID products. This position will support engineering efforts and ensure product quality for Seagate Systems that are delivered to customers.
About the role - you will:
- Understand the design details of the storage system in test perspective
- Work closely with Development team to understand the product architecture and implementation
- Develop and execute test cases as per the test plan
- Generate test reports
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the system
- Assist with maintaining engineering laboratory and equipment
- Commit to be available US-India work collaboration including attending meetings and solving problems
About you:
- Ability to interface effectively with many diverse groups and people across multiple locations
- Self-starter and self-motivated personality
- Understanding of and experience with industry software test processes and practices
- Actively pursues opportunities for learning and self-development
- Capable of working with general instructions on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects
Your experience includes:
- Well versed with fundamental concepts of computer systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux based OS
- Good understanding of some programming/scripting language (Python preferred)
