Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Experience on VAVE projects. Understanding of BOM & details cost break up. Performs cost analysis & identify focus area for cost reduction. Prepares QFD & Pareto charts.
  • Knowledge of  engineering material, their properties,  material sciences. constituents, Manufacturing processes, cost  etc. Knowledge of materials & manufacturing process defects. Ability to select proper material & manufacturing process for basic application.
  • Knowledge of Should cost Process, Purpose of should cost, What is the Should cost, Reason for requesting should cost, Process of Should cost Analysis & Approach, Significance , Manufacturing Process Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of  engineering material, their properties,  material sciences. constituents, Manufacturing processes, cost  etc. Knowledge of materials & manufacturing process . Ability to select proper material & manufacturing process for basic application.
  • Knowledge of Supply chain activities, Process flow, Request for quotation process, Input Pack creation, Vendor clarification, Purchase or Sourcing activities Like Purchase order, Invoice, Comparison, Finding best Suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Supplier Qualification process, Understanding of ISO certifications, Product based certification trainings, Six Sigma etc.
  • Knowledge of  Product, Purpose of reverse engineering? Dis assembly Process, Examination of  its Design, Tolerances and  Mechanisms, Analyzing the dimensions and attributes of the product, Gathering details using advanced scanning technologies( CMM, CT & Laser).
  • Working experience with Solidwork. Skilled in preparation of complex 3D design & 2D drawings. Able apply GD & T in drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Working experience with AutoCAD. Skilled in preparation of complex 2D drawings. Able apply GD & T in drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Working experience with Windchill. Skilled in change management in tool with minimal supervision.
  • Working experience with SAP. Skilled in change management in tool with minimal supervision.

Skills, Qualification and Exp. Required:

Graduate/ Postgraduate with 12-13 years of experience, bachelor’s in mechanical/ production engineering

  • Min 8 years of product development experience in Hydraulics industry and hyd. components & product life cycle experience of these products or related experience
  • Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT).
  • Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and project presentations to senior management and global stakeholder.

Configure, compile, and integrate kernel and user-space components into the Poky build system. Utilize Yocto Project and Poky to create custom Linux distributions tailored to project requirements.
