In this role you will...

• Work in an agile team, delivering SaaS (software as a service) software on AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Design and implement user-facing features considering rendering time and reusability of UI components.
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices.
• Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.

You’ve got what it takes if you have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of hands on React JS experience mandatory. Knowledge and experience with web programming in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge and experience with web programming architectures that utilizes web services, e.g. RESTful, SOAP
• Knowledge and experience with JS frameworks: React and/or bootstrap
• Significant experience developing user-facing software.
• Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
• Development experience designing object-oriented JavaScript.
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques. An understanding of the principles of accessibility and can build products that are accessible to users with disabilities
• Working knowledge of advanced back-end development frameworks and platforms, java knowledge is a plus
• Working knowledge of transaction-based systems and RDBMS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with a team mindset
• Experience with developing and delivering SaaS software
