Job description 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be staffed on projects or engagements, working closely with clients.

You will work with clients such as central and state governments and public sector (economic development, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, etc.). You will be an active part of teams undertaking problem solving, including quantitative, qualitative, process, people, and relationship-based approaches. You will help develop and execute plan to build client capabilities in project management and demonstrate intellectual curiosity in regard to delivery, business context, and typical client needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s or equivalent from a university with consistent outstanding academic record - prior experience is preferable but not necessary; prior experience in sectors like infrastructure (transportation, logistics, energy, tourism, hospitality, health & education, urban), oil & gas, mining, etc. preferable
  • Solid functional knowledge and expertise
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
  • Ability to work on MS Office applications like Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Capability to contribute to/drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH You will be a part of McKinsey’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) service line under the global Operations practice - specifically, MSC’s tech-enablement and analytics wing, MSC-X. You will be based in the Chennai or Gurugram office and will travel frequently to serve our clients onsite. MSC-X comprises a suite of internal and third-party tools, proprietary analytics, and benchmarking databases that accelerates diagnostics and transformations in the manufacturing and supply chain domain. You will work directly with our clients and McKinsey colleagues, spending substantial time at our clients’ manufacturing facilities that span a variety of industries. The team primarily supports clients in India, but opportunities in the greater region and beyond sometimes arise as well. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will play an active role in manufacturing shop floor transformations for Indian clients involving the application of digital tools and analytics, as well as solving manufacturing/production related issues in a variety of industry verticals. You will spend a significant part (>70-80%) of your time working with the MSC practice and consulting teams in McKinsey to help our clients solve complex problems in the manufacturing domain. Common topics addressed by our teams include: yield and throughput enhancements; unlocking workforce productivity; unlocking capacity in manufacturing plants; reducing cost and defects from poor quality production; ensuring reliable, flexible and safe production; as well as maximizing asset returns in production. You will gather data from clients, analyze the data, and conduct diagnostics on the overall manufacturing health and performance by leveraging our digital and advanced analytical capabilities. Job Description As a Digital Publishing Team Lead at Publicis Sapient, you will partner with federal health clients undertaking major digital engagement initiatives. You will work within a cross-functional, highly-capable team to deliver digital public health content and experiences that break through the noise and reach users where they are. Working closely and leading a team of Publicis Sapient content strategists and experience designers to prepare and publish digital content for the benefit of public health.
