About the role - you will:

  • Conduct business workshops, gather requirements, design, and build SAP solutions independently through system configuration and customization, testing, and deployment of SAP GTS business solutions.
  • Provide expert advice on SAP GTS functionality, change management, and other advisory services.
  • Suggest Global Trade solutions to customers based on SAP best business practices.
  • Identify and resolve global trade business process integration issues with sales, material management, logistic and finance area by working with various business partners and stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with various SAP systems like SAP GTS, SAP S/4 Hana, EWM, TM, and non- SAP systems.

About you:

  • Ability to conduct business workshops, Fit-Gap analysis, Design and build SAP solutions by performing necessary SAP configuration and customization.
  • Ability to write detailed specifications for the development of custom programs like enhancement and interfaces, reports and testing, and deployment of solutions to production system.
  • Good knowledge of Cutover tasks and data-migration activities in the GTS area.
  • Good knowledge of Fiori Apps and their use and set-up.
  • Knowledge of EDI and IDoc functionality.
  • Knowledge of middleware tools.
  • Experience in working with global customers having operations in multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Your experience includes:

  • Should have strong consulting and functional skills in SAP GTS and SAP S/4 Hana.
  • SAP GTS experience with minimum 2 full end-to-end SAP global project implementation experience.
  • Should have hands on experience in below given SAP GTS functionalities:
    • Compliance management especially SPL screening and Embargo for both Logistics and Financial Accounting. 
    • Classification (in trade control and tariffs).
    • Risk Management and Legal Control.
    • Customs Management; Special Customs Procedures, Inward processing Relief (IPR) and Bonded Warehouse.
    • SAP Electronic Compliance reporting including Intrastat reporting.
    • Knowledge or exposure to UK (local), China, Thailand and Singapore custom procedures, dealing with local customs, import and export processes would be beneficial.
