Data & Simulations BLR Site Manager

Are you passionate about digitalization within vehicle development areas like Vehicle HW & SW Toolchains, System simulations, Data Management solutions, Engineering Infrastructure, and other IT domains within the scope? 
Then you are the one we are looking for to lead our team in BLR, covering most of the mentioned domains, providing the local support to GTT Engineering functions as well as participating in global deliveries.

Thru our CDO Office function we are managing and coordinating the full scope of IT Solutions and Infrastructure within e product development teams in the following areas:

• Vehicle HW Development Toolchains
• Vehicle SW Development Toolchains
• Data management & Data Analytics, AI/ML as well as product & Data Compliance
• Engineering Infrastructure and High-end Data & Simulation Platforms

We are now looking for our new Site Manager for Data & Simulation in GTT Site Bangalore 

WHAT CHALLENGE DO WE OFFER?

As the Site Manager for Data & Simulations in BLR, you will together with your team secure digital capabilities within the scope through the supporting and implementation of IT Solutions within the scope, based on the global roadmaps and development of Digital Solutions, in close collaboration with a global functional leader within different IT domains as well as local, on-site stakeholders. 

Who are you?
As we don’t know you yet, we might not have everything right about who you are. What we do know though, is that it is important for the position is that you are an experienced leader who will inspire our high performing Onsite team in BLR, where you will meet experts in IT system administration, architecture and operation of HPC - High Power Computing and High-end storage, Data Engineering/Data Analytics platforms, System Simulations, Technical Lab support etc. 
As you love networking and connecting people, you will closely work with our local Business stakeholders, and our global Digital Portfolio Managers, to support the full scope of Digital tools and services locally on the Site and participating in global activities as well. 
For sure you have excellent managerial skills for people and stakeholder management as well as broad knowledge within Engineering and relevant IT domains.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Physics, Business Administration or equivalent
• 12+ Years of experience
• Proven experience within IT or engineering Line and functional management.
• Proven track record of managing global stakeholders and ensuring timely business deliveries.
• Experience in developing and building high performance teams.
• Embracing and leading change and evolving with the business mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent in team and community development and interest in how each person can contribute to the team.
