Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Customer Excellence & Advocacy Lead (CEAL) team
is part of the Oracle Analytics Service Excellence (OASE) Organization. Our team is comprised of highly knowledgeable Architects, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Software Engineers.
The team is spread across the globe to ensure good coverage for any time zone.
Our primary focus is centered on customer-centric engineering activities, both reactive and proactive. In addition, we provide executive level development / engineering representation needed in critical and / or strategic customer engagements.
We help our customers on their transformative journey to adopt Oracle Analytics cloud platforms, Applications, services, architectures and best practices.
This Role:
You would be part of the CEAL Team working with some of the most strategic customers for Oracle Fusion Analytics warehouse. Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse enables you to analyze your Oracle Applications Cloud data and generate visualizations and reports. This packaged service includes Oracle Analytics Cloud and is powered by Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. Prior Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications and applications including Oracle Fusion Applications, E-Business Suite, Oracle Databases, Cloud technologies and Data Warehousing desired.
Primary Skills:
Should have 7+ years of experience working with OBIA & OBIEE Knowledge of OBIA
Should possess solid knowledge on OBIEE RPD design, development & deployment
Should have strong understanding in BI/data warehouse analysis, design, development & test experience.
Expert level experience of Data analysis, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data modeling, Data integration Expert.
Should be able to design, develop and deploy ODI interfaces, packages & scenarios.
Experience in writing complex queries, Stored Procedures in Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Should have experience in designing customized interactive dashboards and reports in OBIEE using drill down, prompts, filters, and variables.
Expert in using OBIEE Answers to create queries, format views, charts, and add user interactivity and dynamic content to enhance the user experience.
Experience on working with OBIEE security both object level and data leve
Experience on working with report performance optimization
Experience in developing Dimensional Hierarchies and adding multiple sources to business model objects.
Possess skills to creating and scheduling iBots in Oracle BI Delivers to provide real-time, personalized and actionable intelligence data to subscribers
Experience in Requirement gathering, solution blueprint, performing fit gap analysis, Business process designs
Experience to develop the Logical Data Model (Business Model), metadata and reports including logical columns, aliases, hierarchies, and subject areas to support reporting
Experience to translate business analyst requirements into analytics metadata
Experience to design & develop BI Physical Data Model
Experience in writing complex queries, Stored Procedures in Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Determine requirements for aggregate tables, hierarchies, level-based measures, etc.
Deep understanding of dimensional data modeling techniques
Experience in developing Dimensional Hierarchies and adding multiple sources to business model objects.
Should be able to manage and lead teams and possess good team management
Desirable Skills
Working knowledge of ODI
Should have customized existing knowledge module Should have created packages / functions/procedures within ODI /implementation of CDC.
Should have created and schedule ODI load plans.
Ability to design and develop ETL Interfaces, Packages, Load plans, user functions, variables and sequences in ODI to support both batch and real-time data integrations
Good knowledge in customization and ODI plugin creation.
Worked with multiple Cloud Platforms.
