EBSQA is the central QA organization for Oracle Applications EBS Product Line. EBSQA is a dynamic organization that is committed to setting outstanding standards in Quality Assurance. At EBSQA, team members frequently work in multiple product areas within and across product domains. Innovation, initiative, thinking out of the box and expanding horizons is a regular activity. The team places high premium on competence, creativity and performance. You will part of team responsible for ensuring quality of E-business suite applications for Oracle Projects.
Detailed Job Description -
1. Responsible for the Quality Assurance of one or more products in EBS Projects, EBS Lease.
2. You will be working on cutting edge projects such as EBS ECC Extensions, EBS Mobile Apps and EBS UI Improvement projects.
3. Your typical role will be to formulate and optimize test cases and run tests across the product areas and projects that you will be working on.
4. You will be frequently called upon to conceptualize and drive new innovations in testing. You will be a key driver for continuous improvement initiatives.
5. You will be exposed to and participate in various facets of product development following agile and waterfall methodologies.
6. You will be responsible for testing your products and assigned projects through new and sustaining releases. You will also be supporting the vast EBS customer base through regular bug fix verification and certification of minor enhancements.
7. You will be responsible for following established QA processes and maintaining relevant test metrics. You will be expected to participate in regular defect analysis, code reviews and appropriate methods for continuous research and improvements.
8. While your primary customers will be the internal development organization, you may also directly or indirectly service the other key stakeholders in the eco-system including the Oracle Support, Oracle Consulting, Pre-sales and partner network, as part of specific out-reach initiatives.
9. You will be required to author white-papers in your specialization areas and create appropriate collaterals, as required.
10. You will be working on the Oracle Flow Builder and building test assets for your product areas.
11. While you will be primarily responsible for the functional and manual verification and validation of your products, you will also be generally required to be conversant with the automation tools such as OATS which are typically used to run automation test cycles.
12. You may also be expected to work on back-end testing methods including API and web services testing. You may be working on several integration projects that use Oracle integration technologies such as BPEL, ODI etc.
