Job Description

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

3-6 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Job Description:

3 to 6 years of proven Coding experience in Java/JEE/Rest/Springboot2.0 Micro Services.  Individual Contributor role, being Hands-On is a critical requirement.

Experience of using different Java and Microservices design patterns.
Minimum 1 years' experience in Spring Boot
Should exhibit good Core Java/JEE skillset.
Experience in deploying applications in WebLogic server.
Well versed in Java/JEE technologies like Application servers, Servlets, Eclipse Link, JMS, RESTful services, JSON/XML.
Should have a working knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Hands-on with debugging code and troubleshooting.
Should have working knowledge on Cloud Applications.
Experience in Oracle Helidon is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Container Docker, Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
Experience with dev-ops, CI-CD, and Agile methodologies
Must have excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. 
The person should have a technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.
Experience in working in Agile methodology.
Experience in OJET or other UI skills is an added advantage.

Create high level design. Guide the product specialist in translating the high level design into detailed design. Review to ensure that the design is comprehensive and addresses all requirements. Code for complex components. Review code created by the developers based on requirements. Participate in peer design reviews. Drive the review meetings with the customers on the design with support from the Product Specialist. Conduct root cause analysis of defects / process issues. Identify/design reusable components and solution enablers. Create product based KT document, for the customer. Testing : Create unit test cases and perform unit testing including complex components. Review unit test cases as created by Product Specialist and Product Analyst. Assist the testing team by reviewing test strategy document, when required. Provide UAT and implementation support. Drive clarifications / defect resolution to ensure timely deployment. Innovation : Contribute ideas / areas requiring improvements based on project implementation, team feedback etc. Identify best practices related to the project/product & document the same. Capability Building : Prepare guidelines and checklists for the team. Create and deliver training on products/modules. Mentor team from a technical/functional perspective to ensure delivery of the module. Knowledge Management : Contribute towards updating knowledge assets. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for new joiners in the project team. People Management : Resolve conflicts within team members. Support team building activities. Provide administrative support. Provide inputs on goal setting and performance appraisal of team. Identify skill gaps and training needs required. Provide input into the learning and career plans for team members. Mentor team.
