About the role

As a Content Strategist, you will join our creative team with special focus on performance ads, brand campaigns and other digital media assets. If you're familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we'd like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio. 

Ultimately, you'll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, boost brand awareness and lead the team

What you will do:
  • Define the TOV and ensure it strategically fits into the Meeshoverse.
  • Lead a team of copywriters and ensuring that spin strategy first narratives.
  • Lead the campaign strategy and development workflow to deliver campaign goals
  • Liase with the brand marketing team to create and execute campaign plans
  • Based on digital strategy, creative direction and your own research and ideas, create and execute effective campaigns that build audiences, generate engagement and drive DAU.
  • Drive all content marketing efforts across various channels for paid marketing and brand campaigns 
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously while solving key challenges of quality and quantity from a marketing perspective
  • Plan long-term brand strategy and evolution, medium-term communications and campaign planning and short-term engagement strategies to accomplish communication objectives.
  • Think more than just copy. Think ideas first, design first, digital first, video first. Whatever it takes to communicate the message most effectively.
What you will need:
  • Prior experience of working as a content strategist/specialist
  • Experience of at least 7 years work ex, ideally split across advertising agencies and the “client side”
  • A penchant for topicality, someone who eats advertising trends for breakfast
  • Ability to define TOV and innovate within visual brand guidelines for all deliverables 
  • Understanding of the digital ecosystem, current marketing trends in acquisition as well as brand-building, marketing opportunities
  • A strong portfolio of content across all formats and platforms
  • A cross-functional team player who is able to engage, listen and collaborate with internal teams to align on overall strategy and goals as well as creative partners
  • Someone who can convince a producer to charge less and a stakeholder to push timelines more.
