Sr Software Engineer

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Mainframe technologies
• Doing detailed code analysis and documenting business workflows.
• Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback.
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
• Facilitate requirement analyses, conduct peer reviews and provide feedback, and enhance frameworks.

• Engage onshore partners & other stakeholders
• Build solutions, recommend best practices, create elegant designs, present business cases
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
• Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business.
• Plan, design, lead, and execute technical solutions and improvements
• Responsible for Code Quality Assurance and ensure code review effectiveness

• Experience and knowledge of Core Mainframe, and WGS Claims Domain knowledge.
• Knowledge in developing automation test suites using any framework.
• Understanding of Mainframe screen navigations/flow..
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proven work experience of 3+ years in Mainframe Technologies.
• Sound knowledge of WGS Claims processing.
• Familiarity with peripheral systems of WGS claims application
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of coding languages including Cobol, IMS DB/DC, CICS, MQ.
• Fundamentals of technologies including SQL, AWS. Would be added advantage/preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Sound knowledge in Mainframe Technology and good programming skills.
• Good Knowledge in WGS claims application
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of WGS Claims and peripheral systems

QUALIFICATION

• Graduates having Bachelor degree with relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of WGS Claims and passionate for create business solutions

• At least 3+ years of experience in Mainframe Technologies and 2+ years in WGS Claims (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Experience working on any of the RPA or other automation tools is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers

• Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in medium to large scale enterprise applications
• Good Knowledge in WGS claims platform
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to engage onshore partners & other stakeholders
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
