ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop, review and implement configurations that will improve reliability and performance of internal and customer-facing systems
Serve as additional support to the Cloud engineering team related to infrastructure for both internal and external clients
Automate commonly needed cloud or on-premise platform components and solutions. Use reusable infrastructure deployment packages that align with security, compliance, and service management policies
Develop, review and implement infrastructure as code that will improve reliability, repeatability and performance of internal and customer-facing systems
Troubleshoot deployment problems, including deployment code
Actively participate in and lead program team meetings to ensure solutions can be effectively integrated and operationalized
Define strategies and execute on initiatives to form a Cloud Center of Excellence
Assist to maintain relationships with vendors (software and hardware) to identify the optimal product mix and minimize total cost of ownership of Clinsys solutions
Provide infrastructure related expertise to Clinisys sales and clients by designing optimal infrastructure and deployment architectures
Develop and deploy standards and reference architectures for delivering Clinisys infrastructure
Provide support and guidance of cloud hosted solutions and on-premise components

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

High level expertise and experience with communicating and applying cloud principles and practices in terms of scalability, resiliency, security, cost, automation, and management and monitoring.
Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
Ability to organize and present information to optimize usage and understanding by target audiences including sales teams, customers, regional solution consultants, etc. Collaborative work style and able to partner with manager level and above client stakeholders
Demonstrated high level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment
Ability to work individually and within a high-performance team with time critical and financially constrained tasks and complex deliverables by providing guidance and supervision of other team members and project resources.
Excellent analytical skills as evidenced by the ability to solve problems, identify improvement opportunities, and create effective action plans during the performance of assigned tasks.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience with Agile, and DevOps concepts
 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in relation to:

Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer and demonstrable success in delivering cloud and on-premise infrastructures with customers.
Enabling and working within DevOps constructs including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Exposure to large scalable high volume/traffic/distributed systems.
Has high understanding of infrastructure, cloud concepts, on-premise concepts, architectures, and capability and has a proven track record in defining architecture that delivers the right engineering for the delivery of services.
Experience designing, developing, and implementing in a hybrid and cloud environment, including security, networking, automation, highly available, disaster recovery, etc.
Enabling and working within DevOps constructs including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using cloudformation and/or terraform.
Exposure to large scalable high volume/traffic/distributed systems
Identity & Federation Services, including active directory
Experience working with modern tech stacks: Linux (RedHat) and Windows platforms, as well as serverless is a plus, Java, .NET etc. and Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell, etc).
Experience in project and professional services delivery.
