What you will be doing:

  • Technically lead and manage a group responsible for the power and perf productization activities
  • Collaborate with various cross functional and cross geography teams to plan and deliver various power/perf bring up and productization activities at speed of light. This will include bring up preparation, silicon correlation to pre-silicon estimates, feature bring up/tunings/debugs, silicon characterization under various product usecases, building power/perf models, product binning support etc.
  • Do resource planning and optimizations. This will include engineers, boards, chips, measurement equipment, peripherals etc.
  • Track project schedules, define individual performance requirements to accomplish team level goals
  • Track the Key Performance Indices of execution efficiency and silicon behavior across process nodes and generations.
  • Provide schedule/cost/feature trade offs to enable project level decisions by higher management
  • Drive After Action Reviews for projects, identify improvements and work with various collaborators to implement changes and continuous improvements.
  • Identify innovative methods to accomplish our ambitious NPI schedules!

 

What we need to see:

  • B. Tech or M. Tech in Electronics Engineering stream.
  • 7+ overall years of experience in the semiconductor industry with at least 3+ years of team management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring up, validation and productization
  • Strong familiarity with HW lab environment and understanding of various lab equipment
  • Strong understanding of aspects related to silicon power and performance, technology node impacts, Hardware and Software interactions at system level.
  • Python programming familiarity is desirable
  • Strong data analysis, reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand business trends and connect them to activities performed.
  • Self-starter with strong skills in multi-tasking, influencing, communication, presentation, and consensus building
  • Enthusiastic, responsive, and keen on process improvements
