Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead who specializes in Selenium and Functional Testing to join our team. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and efficient quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for our software products, with a focus on Selenium and functional testing.
2. Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, including test objectives, scope, resources, and schedule to ensure effective testing coverage.
3. Test Execution: Execute functional and automated tests using Selenium to identify defects and ensure software reliability.
4. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the testing processes and procedures adhere to industry standards and best practices, maintaining a high level of software quality.
6. Defect Management: Track and manage defects, working closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
7. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
8. Reporting: Prepare and present test results and quality metrics to management, providing insights for decision-making.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on Selenium and functional testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Previous experience in managing a QA team and driving testing strategies.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Experience:
8-12 years of experience required.
