Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the software development process.

What will your job look like?

• Be accountable for and own specific modules within an application and provide technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, problem resolution for critical / complex issues while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable and supportable.
• Present demos of the software products to partners and internal/external customers, using technical knowledge to influence the direction and evolution of the product/solution.
• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds, will review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, will highlight risks and will help mitigate risks from technical aspects.
• Bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques, and reusing existing solutions. By means of automation, reduces design complexity, reduces time to response, and simplifies the client/end-user experience.
• Represent/lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team (for example, leads technical design reviews). Establishes relationships with internal customers/partners

• Key responsibilities:
  •    Strong knowledge of Cloud Native Datawarehouse Architecture and Implementation
  •    Perform development (code, unit test & deploy) and production support activities for Data warehousing domain using ETL Tools and Technologies
  •    Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issues
  •    Strong customer communications and provide resolution for business critical problems
  •    Creation of necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
  •    Handle Production Issues (Tier 2/3 Support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are met
  Technical Skills: 
  Mandatory
  1.    Have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud
  •    Extremely strong in Azure Data Factory and Synapse Workspace with experience in creating complex pipelines (multiple data sources)
  •    Experience in data ingestion into ADLS
  •    Strong working experience in Azure Databricks
  •    Experience in Development, Performance Tuning and loading into Azure Synapse
  •    Experience of working with Azure Repos or Github
  •    Deployment experience using Azure DevOps
  •    Understanding of Event Hub
  •    Knowledge of AI/ML Implementation
  •    Nice to have – knowledge and experience in AAS
  •    Nice to have – Azure certified
  2.    Have 8+ years of hands-on experience in ETL, DWH projects
  •    Strong working knowledge of one ETL tool
  •    Very Strong in SQL
  •    Expertise in Synapse DWH and working knowledge of Synapse SQL Pools
  •    Architectural knowledge of E2E BI systems
  •    Expertise in one SQL database
  •    Knowledge of Power-BI with project experience
  3.    Delivered projects in Agile and DevOps
  Good to have
  •    Teradata & all Teradata utilities
  •    Unix Shell Scripting
  •    Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & work out of the comfort zone in other ETL technologies (Informatica, Oracle, Golden Gate, IBM CDC, Mainframe etc).
