We are looking for HW diagnostic software Engineer who will be responsible for SMTK tool development and issue resolution.

The Opportunity:

  • Work as a member of development team to develop HW diagnostic software using Hardware Design collaterals (Specifications, Schematics, Board layout CAD files, mechanical layout designs, Bill of Materials) 
  • Convert the Server and Rack Topology into programmatically accessible formats for the SKUs that we support (e.g. Hardware Descriptor Languages, *.JSONs etc.) 
  • Contribute to development and testing of the HW Diagnostic Software modules in C, C++ and C# in Windows Server.

What you need:

Skills and Experience: 

  • 8+ Years of overall experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on coding experience required (C/C++/C# in Windows or Linux) 
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in solving hardware and software problems in PC, Enterprise server or Cloud Server required (X86 environment).
  • Strong grasp of key technologies such as CPU, motherboards, BIOS, BMC, memory, PCIe, storage, networking is required.
  • Hands on experience in developing Diagnostic Code as well as skills to work in a laboratory environment is a plus.
  • Passion for remote problem solving in cloud environment is essential.
  • Individual effectiveness skills such as discipline, time management, decision making, planning, organizing work, summarizing results through technical reports are required.
  • Self-motivated individual must be able work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
