We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of test analysis experience and recent specialty insurance experience. The ideal candidate should be recently trained and certified in Guidewire SurePath. We need someone with experience working with policy administration and claims processing systems, and a complete understanding of the full policy lifecycle and claims processes. Experience in release level system integration testing involving multiple workstreams/deliveries and transitioning from on premise to cloud solution(s) is also required. Familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and proficiency in industry standard test management tools are highly desired. A certification in testing is also essential. Additional desirable skills include recent working experience with Guidewire Policy Center, Salesforce implementations, and non-functional testing frameworks and practices.

Job Description

Skills and Experience Specification: Essential:  

  • At least 3 years test analysis experience. Recent Specialty Insurance experience is vital. 
  •  Recently trained and certified in Guidewire SurePath. 
  •  Experience working with policy administration and claims processing systems.
  • Complete understanding of the full Policy Lifecycle (i.e. new business/mid-term endorsement/renewal/cancellation), and Claims Processes (FNOL/Validation/Reserves/ Payment/Recovery/Closure). 
  •  Experience working on Release level system integration testing involving multiple workstreams/deliveries, on a single test schedule. 
  •  Experience of transitioning from on premise to cloud solution(s). 
  •  Previous experience integrating Waterfall and Agile methodologies. 
  •  Excellent stakeholder communication skills, able to summarise a complicated data set into meaningful progress reports. 
  •  Experience with industry standard test management tools (MS Azure DevOps, MicroFocus Application Lifecycle Management Octane etc.). ?
  • Proficient at defect management workflows and processes. 
  •  ISEB/ISTQB or equivalent certification in testing. 

Desirable: 

  •  Recent working experience with Guidewire Policy Center. 
  •  Recent working experience with Salesforce Implementations. 
  •  Working experience of non-functional testing frameworks and practices.
