Job Description

  • SharePoint Administration including configuration, coordination, management and reporting for SharePoint activities for all programs of work supporting the execution of Civica’s Department of Justice contracts
  • Creating a positive SharePoint experience for end users who are delivering complex programs in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Proactively building relationships and working collegially with team members and broader stakeholders to ensure efficient online collaboration
  • Use a continuous improvement approach to ensure best practice standards for SharePoint Administration
  • Provide support and management of the CJS
  • Sharepoint platform including installing, configuring and upgrading SharePoint systems, integrating applications, creating libriaries and workflows
  • Manage system operations and services, and backup of SharePoint data (if required), ensuring efficient storage and deletion of data no longer required
  • Create, leverage and manage content types, site columns, lookups and templates for re-use in sites
  • Determine and create scalable structure for top level, directorate, division, and branch sites
  • Manage permissions including adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions
  • Perform maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet
  • Review usage and activity reports and make adjustments to ensure optimised user-experiences
  • Training - Provide SharePoint support and end-user training
  • Troubleshooting - Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions
  • SharePoint Audits - Reviews of SharePoint usage, update of content, identify any misuse or missing metadata
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades
  • Any other Contract Management Office (CMO) activities that are deemed appropriate and relevant
Requirements

Skills Required

  • At least 2 years' experience as a SharePoint administrator
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks
  • Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills and excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to adapt and respond to ad hoc requests
