Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include architecting, designing, and implementing (along with counterparts and principal Architects) a cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in Transportation management, planning and last-mile logistics.
• The team currently comprises of 90+ global associates across US, India (COE) and UK and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team

Our current technical environment:

• Software: C++, Java, GIT, Rest API, Oracle, Tomcat, HTML, CSS, Java Script, JSP
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, Multi layered (Client-Server) architecture
• Cloud Architecture: BY Private cloud
• Frameworks/Others: RDBMS, Jenkins, App Dynamics, Splunk

What you will do:

• Drive designs discussion and come up with robust and more efficient designs to achieve features in product roadmap
• Take complete responsibility of the features developed right from coding till deployments
• Be a leader, take responsibility of code quality and drive test driven development thought process in the team
• Collaborate and work along with experts in the team to understand the current architecture and propose opportunities for improvement
• Introduce new technology and tools for the betterment of the product
• Mentor New and junior associates in our team by shares knowledge by offering training sessions
• Guides fellow engineers to look beyond the surface and fix the root causes rather than symptoms.
• Evolves the hiring culture in the team, identifies skill gaps, and actively shapes job openings to ensure foreseeable requirements can be met in the future.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum 9-13  years of experience in Software development in Java
• Strong programming experience on background skills such as Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, and good to have Java Script, JSP, HTML, CSS, Python, Design pattern and SQL programming
• Hands-on development skills along with MVC Architecture/design experience in Microservices
• Good understanding of API management platforms & providing/consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience in requirement elaboration and creating high and low level design
• Exposure in Continues integration and Delivery using Jenkins
• Exposure to varies tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Visual Studio, Eclipse, RDBMS
• Exposure in Infrastructure management and production server load balancer
