JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Profile:

1. Develop Techno-commercial proposals for tank gauging and manage execution of Project Orders for ROSEMOUNT TANK GAUGING business.
   1. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rosemount Tank Gauging products.
   2. Select suitable instruments based on the RFQ and detail the specifications
   3. Design instrumentation solutions based on the applications
2. Provide Support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient and effective Project Execution
   1. Prepare post order documentation. The position will be responsible for cleaning the documents, resolving the customer comments and timely submission.
   2. Attend internal project execution meetings to understand customer requirements and act accordingly.
   3. Responsibility of meeting the project schedule. 
3. Maintain log of key metrics for projects and proposals.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1.  Clear understanding of basic working  principles of Rosemount/Radar Tank Gauging Products.
2. Familiarity with installation and calibration of Tank Gauging instruments. 
3. Familiarity with the Instrument Data Sheets and Specifications, International Standards for Hazardous, Flammable Areas, Ingress Protection Codes and understanding of PID’s.
4. Should be in position to prepare the engineering Bill Of Material for both the project execution & proposals including the control room portion with buyout items like servers, workstations & the networking components for Tank Gauging Products . 
5. Selection of suitable instrument types and models based on the customer specifications for Oil and Gas Tank instrumentation and automation.
6. Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel and Power Point with ease. Familiarity with MS Projects and Auto-CAD will be an added advantage.
7. Candidate with knowledge of control room panel / Cabinet design and engineering will be preferred.
8. Candidate with knowledge of vendor print documentation related to the post order activities will be preferred.
9. Candidates should have done or should be aware of site survey & detail information capture for proposal and or project execution for Tank gauging instrumentation and automation system.
10. Costing, estimation & cost optimization with selection of best instrumentation packages as well as its accessories.
11. Costing of the bought out material like flameproof & whether proof junction boxes, isolation power switches, cable glands, FRLS signal & power cables, mechanical items such as flanges, isolation ball valves, multiport valves used for tank gauging instrumentation and automation
