Project Description

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to assist in the build-out of their Financial Markets Regulatory reporting software to support additional functionality required for Mifid 2 and G20 reporting (Dodd-Frank, ASIC, EMIR, ...). This engagement is part of a multi-year project to expand the capabilities of the existing software to support the ongoing stream of new regulations impacting financial markets derivatives (FX, FXD, IRD, FI, ..)

We require experienced Test Analysts with broad exposure to financial markets (Including derivative trades). You will be working as tester in a team of BA's, developers, and testers on a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of Test Analysts through ST, SIT & working with the business to execute UAT.
• Focus would be on both manual testing as well as running a set of automated test cases and verifying the results.
• Work on converting requirements to detailed test cases.
• Create detailed scenarios for various business cases to be tested, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work closely with the Business analysts to understand the test scope, and scenarios and to investigate any issues that arise Configure, execute, and report on test phases/test cycles. In case of issues, you will perform a first analysis of the underlying cause and work with the stakeholders in a constructive manner to achieve the desired outcome.

Skills

Must have

- 5- 9 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Capital Market Experience is must have
- Test Management and Defect Management with market testing tools like Zephyr, qTest, etc.
- AWS - EKS/ Kubernetes, EC2, VPC, RDS
- Experience in Requirement Analysis, Quality Process, Test Planning, Test Execution, Test Strategy, Test Planning, TRR (Test Readiness Report), TSR(Test Status Report)
- Test Automation experience with Hybrid -Data-driven and Page Object Model frameworks and Cucumber - BDD tools like Selenium, Cucumber, UFT, Rational Robot, etc.
- API Testing (RESTful and SOAP) with automated tools like SOAPUI PRO/ReadyAPI-Swagger tool/Postman /Rest-Assured etc.
- SIT/UAT Test Management with experience in managing UAT USers.
- BDD tools like Cucumber
- SOAP UI
- Jenkins

Nice to have

- Experience with Non-Functional Testing Tools (Jmeter/LoadRunner etc)
- Knowledge of DevOps CICD tools: Jenkins, Dockers.
- Experience with Non-Functional Testing Tools (Jmeter)
- Terraform
- Experience with Gradle

Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.   Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 2-4 years experience.   Knowledge and Skills: Must have skills: Selenium, Java, JMeter/Karate framework. Using software quality assurance tools and processes. Software testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills. Understanding of design for software and firmware running on multiple platform types Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
