Who we are looking for:

A highly motivated self-starter that can collaborate with multiple internal teams while supporting the Global Cybersecurity (GCS) Client Engagement function. Primary responsibilities include presenting the GCS program to clients during their due diligence efforts and working with the senior Client Engagement manager and the Legal team to negotiate the cybersecurity commitments included in client contracts. Other responsibilities include supporting client RFPs/due diligence questionnaires and other client-facing activities.

Although you will be involved in contract negotiations, a legal background is not required. We partner with our legal team to support us on the legal aspects of the negotiation. Our focus is on the cybersecurity aspects of the negotiation. The job is based in Europe – TBD.  An understanding of regional laws and regulations, along with the ability to converse with clients about State Street’s alignment with said laws and regulations, will be required.

As a Cybersecurity Client Engagement Leader you will

  • Be responsible for working collaboratively with Information Technology and business teams to retain and win business via client presentations and other client engagement activities
  • Working with Global Cybersecurity (GCS) management to coordinate client meetings and ensuring all materials are ready in advance
  • Keeping up-to-date with regional laws and regulations to inform State Street’s client base how we are adhering to local requirements
  • Negotiating cybersecurity commitments in client contracts
  • Driving continuous process improvement
