EY- SAP MDG Consultant – MENA ERP (SAP MDG) – Senior

As part of our GDS MENA ERP team, you will need to perform various SAP MDG implementation & support activities, such as pre/post go live implementation support, enhancements requirements study and its implementation support as well as other consulting activities

The opportunity

We’re looking for Senior level consultant with expertise in SAP MDG to join the group of our SAP ERP Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.

Your key responsibilities

• Work on implementation and support for SAP MDG Projects
• Work on as SAP MDG as functional consultant with good exposure to  SAP MDG EhP6, MDG 7.0/8.0 (Preferably 9.0)
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills

• Analyse and propose solutions for requirements received from clients and other functional consultants
• Develop, document, and deliver solutions with utmost quality adhering to EY best practices
• Responsible for process design, configuration, assistance with testing, requirements gathering and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to delivery MDG C/V/M/F.
• Collaborate with experts, architects, leads and project managers to ensure highest standards of delivery within the stipulated timelines
• Work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions, while at the same time, work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design
• Drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, and technology
• Engage with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure success of the project
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to relate technical issues to a business audience.
• Honesty and integrity are an absolute requirement.
• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a good attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
• Willingness to travel for consulting is a must requirement

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP as functional consultant with good exposure to  SAP MDG EhP6 MDG 7.0/8.0 (Preferably 9.0)
• Extensive ECC and/or S/4 HANA experience
• Experience in Implementation of SAP MDG Solution for masters like Customer, Vendor, Material
• Expertise in Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus).
• Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
• Experience in Integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance.
• Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
• Experience in Process Modelling (Entity, Business Activity change, Request type, Workflow, Edition type, Relationship, Data replication techniques, SOA service, ALE connection, Key value mapping, Data transfer, Export import master data, Convert master data).
• Knowledge in activation and configuration of the MDG modules components.
• Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas
• Ability to work as an independent consultant in project as well as team member
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implement latest technologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

• SAP MDG certified
• MBA , Engineering Graduation
