Job title: Electrical Architect - HV
You will be part of LCM team for X-Ray Components Pune under CT/AMI IC R&D responsible for LCM of X-Ray Generators and Components. You are responsible to develop and modify system hardware of X-Ray Generators for CT, Diagnostic X-Rays and other modalities during the Life Cycle Phase of the products.
Your role:
• Requirements, design, implementation, test and integration of module/sub-
system in accordance with the higher-level architectural requirements and de
sign specifications.
• Ensuring that the design is consistent with the higher-level architecture and re
quirements.
• Ensuring that the proposed design would have the safety, reliability and
quality features built-in.
• Responsible for ensuring that the design meets the performance,
quality and cost criteria.
• Conduct concept and feasibility studies.
• Ensuring that there is proper documentation per standards for the de
veloped design.
• Ensuring the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate com
ponents in modular design that meets the product specification.
• Ensuring that his design modules meet the product certification re
quirements.
• Drawing up personal schedule and reports on progress.
• Defining and assessing the Work Breakdown Structure/planning/costs of his/her area.
• Being abreast of technical developments in own field through study of
literature and technical contacts.
• Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with coun
try specific regulations.
• Supplier evaluation and communication.
• Guide and coach colleagues in technical field of expertise and related
processes.
You're the right fit if:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, with 12+
years of experience.
• Strong Experience in High Voltage Electronics and insulation designs.
• Strong Experience in Analog and Mixed Signal Board Design.
• Strong Experience in using state-of-the-art methods/tools (CAD/simulation)
used in Electrical design.
• Good Knowledge of power electronics design.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and testing for conformance.
• Knowledge of cable harness design.
• Hands-on experience in schematics and PCB design tools (e.g. Cadence
Allegro / Mentor Graphics).
• Should have an understanding of patient safety with knowledge of Insulation
Diagram and Means of Protection (MOPP/MOOP).
• Knowledge of mechanical design compatibility aspects.
• Knowledge of IEC 60601 standards will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Global Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA,
UL, CE, CSA etc. will be an added advantage.
• Should have experience in DFMEA and design of Fail-safe systems and Sub-
systems.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Agile, Clear-quest, Windchill or equivalent. • Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently.

• Ability to present and articulate ideas to key stakeholders and leadership
team.
