Team Summary
We are looking for bright and exceptional Principal Engineer to join our Technology team. The candidate will be involved in building complex next generation software and architecting solutions to support new technical and business initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Create and review architectural decisions of projects/products
- Provide technology consultation and technical solutions for projects/products
- Create and Review high-level and low-level design of solutions
- Ensure compliance of non-functional attributes (stability, security, availability, performance, etc.) of the product to internal standards
- Establish/Improve SDLC processes & ensure adherence to projects/products
- Drive strategic initiatives aligning with the firm’s technology vision
- Provide technical training and influence business/technical decisions
- Own and execute projects independently from an architectural standpoint
What you'll need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or, an equivalent course)
- 9+ years of relevant experience in Java, Python or similar object-oriented language(s)
- Technical hands-on with building large-scale solutions with any of the object-oriented language(s)
- Experience in end-to-end execution of enterprise grade software
- Knowledge of design principles, fundamentals of architecture, quality processes and estimation techniques
- Understanding of relational and/or non-relations databases
- Experience with building high volume products that are highly available, scalable, and reliable on cloud platform
- Experience in trouble shooting and resolving scalability challenges for existing apps
- Experience with evaluation of open source frameworks, libraries, and tools
- Ability to implement user interfaces using web-technologies and frameworks
- The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as a demonstrated passion for technology. Excellent reasoning ability and good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role as it involves interaction with business users.
