Phenom People is looking for a full-time Product Development Engineer III - Backend to join our Engineering team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

The Product Development Engineer III - Backend will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications and services. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to work independently and collaboratively with other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications and services

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues

• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful product delivery

• Ensure code quality and maintainability

• Monitor system performance and optimize code

• Participate in code reviews

• Research and recommend new technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• Expertise in developing backend applications and services

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or other programming languages

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Work Experience 

 

• Experience in software development, product development organization experience preferred.
• Define long-term technical architecture to support SAAS offering, Lead and direct product development efforts.
• Be able to distill business objectives into technical solutions through effective system design and architecture
• Be able to work independently on a project-by project basis and also work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
• Be able to provide technical and analytical solutions to evaluate the merits and challenges of a product idea
• Experience in leading development team would be an additional advantage
• Good to have experience of integrations with Third Party offerings
