The Merchandising team plays a vital role in liaising between the Category teams, Store/ Channel teams and the Inventory Planning unit. The incumbent heading a category and would also be closely working with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure strategic product placement in the offline stores.
This is a strategic role and requires an elevated sense of business acumen and exposure to business tech and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Management - We leverage Increff systems to automate our replenishment processes, so the incumbent would need to manage the backend database systems across tool and S3.
- Unicom management - Incumbent would need to manage the Unicom part of the merch function which would include updating all new store requests with merch mix, again a process-driven responsibility with a business overlay.
- Tech Bridge - We work extensively with tech on a lot of areas such as a new product addition, margin definition etc. which involves working with the tech team, so the incumbent would need to work with category teams as well as the tech team to streamline processes, and create right SOPs.
Job requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelor's / Master's degree.
2. At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience providing tech/ analytics solutions in a commercial setting.
3. Consulting experience will be considered a plus.
