ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE;

Food Growth team at Swiggy is responsible for building products that have a direct impact on the revenue and growth of the Food Business. The areas include Pricing, Promotions, and New Service Offerings (Categories like Gourmet and guilt-free).


 

Principal Product Manager at Swiggy spearheads the Product efforts for one or more diverse businesses. They closely collaborate with internal product teams, engineering teams, UX researchers/designers, data scientists, analytics, marketing, and business to build a strategy and roadmap for their respective charter helping our power users find value and convenience in the most efficient manner leading to continued customer delight and seamless experiences.

What will you get to do here?

Establish & own a long-term strategy for building growth products at Swiggy while strategizing, planning, and influencing to deliver on the planned roadmap

Partnering with technology, business, operations, marketing, supply, and Analytics teams to deliver on the roadmap while unlocking long-term value for our customers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic roadmaps across Swiggy's focus areas based on the AOP targets and execute as per the aligned roadmaps

Collaborate with product teams across the org to ideate and find win-win-win solutions on common objectives across multiple categories and product lines impacted

Facilitate and nurture team members and build differentiated experiences by fostering a culture of innovation & learning with a high emphasis on sustainable rituals

Determine the targets/success metrics for the rider org based on the organizational strategy and be the custodian for these metrics.
 

What qualities are we looking for?

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Product Management with extensive experience in user research, consumer backward thinking, design thinking, and building non-functional consumer/ driver/seller experiences in commerce platforms.
  • Product management experience in the consumer internet industry. Experience in core experience building growth & engagement products would be a huge plus
  • Go-getter attitude and willingness to be hands-on with a strong ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality data products in large internet companies impacting millions of users.
  • You are consumer obsessed, but you can walk a tightrope balancing consumer delight with potentially orthogonal org goals.
  • Well-versed in running experiments & is considered an expert in analyzing data, showcasing a deep understanding of the 360-degree interaction effects and potential long-term impacts, can cull out the unknowns and hedge against them.
  • Ability to lead a high-performing team of data science, analytics, engineering, technology, and business folks.
  • You have demonstrated experience in working across multiple products, and various stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several teams/functions leading to successful outcomes. 
  • You thrive in managing a charter with a big impact & multiple intersections in a large org.
