This is the role

We are looking for energetic individuals who can process UAV (drone) photos into interactive spherical panorama images and perform quality checking of drone mapping output from automated drone map processing software. This a high-volume position, involving the production of several dozen panoramas and maps each day. The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.

Tasks and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Experience in specialized software to process aerial UAV imagery into interactive spherical panoramas.
  • Make adjustments to image alignment, contrast and exposure to ensure a consistent, high-quality product.
  • Perform quality control evaluations of UAV maps, identifying various processing defects.
  • Administer the publishing of panorama images and UAV maps through the Multivista web application.
  • Able to work with a variety of image processing software including PanoStudio, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with UAV software such as Pix4D or Drone Deploy is an asset.
  • Strong and well versed in image processing / analysis skills.

  • Minimum 1-year experience in production environment
  • Good visual and general computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience with computer image or video processing is an asset
  • Strong team player and multitasker
  • Ability to read and understand engineering & architectural drawings
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Any technical Diploma / Bachelor's degree.
