Job Description

• Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application support and development.
• Good knowledge with QE Processes, Methodologies and Test Design techniques with hands on experience on ALM, JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with Iterative Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies.
• Experience of testing across complex end to end systems with multiple interfaces and dependencies.
• Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills and out of the box thinking coming up with creative solutions on testing approach in critical timelines.
• Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (SoapUI, Selenium, Appium, UFT/Lean UFT/Rest Assured/Robot Framework, TestNG) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience in API testing with automation
• Understanding of SQL basics and its application.
• Good knowledge of industry practices with focus on Agile, DevOps, environments, and test integration.
• Experience in a QE/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
• Excellent communication skills and effective negotiation skills.
• Nice-to-have:
• Working experience with GitHub and Jenkins considered an asset.
• Experience in model-based testing and tools such as ConformIQ, Hexawise etc.

Primary Skills

• Automation hands on experience – python/java at least one coding language.
• Database/batch testing – SQL, UNIX, mainframes (JCL), stone branch
• API testing – must have hands-on experience.
