This encompasses analyzing daily change-notices, EOLs, obsoletes and – mostly – elongated lead times.
  • Preparing Engineering Change Requests, Manufacturing Change Requests or Deviations to obtain old parts to support production – within our PDM system.
  • Review hardware drawings (schematics / PCB files) to understand component fitness.
  • Lead qualification of new electrical and/or mechanical components for NPD programs
  • Creating and maintaining a tracking list of issues per part that can result in an executive summary for periodic review.
  • Analyzing part failure; request part failure analysis reports from vendors.
  • Supporting design engineers in finding, selecting and documenting new components.
  • Coordinate with global purchasing and qualification team to do any sustaining activity for production smoothly
  • Writing Calculating Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and MTBF's
  • Executing verification tests.
  • Executing Document tests and generating CIA's (Change Impact Analysis) to explain change etc.
  • Understanding the hardware architecture of the products
  • Company interface to component / parts suppliers and test and service suppliers.
  • Working in a diverse team environment, as well as independently
